Wabi Nabe Fruit Cobbler

Fruit Cobbler
for your Wabi Nabe cast iron pot

Ingredients:
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar (divided)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups fruit
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven and Wabi Nabe with butter inside to 350°F
  2. Separately, mix baking powder, flour, sugar (reserve 1/8 cup for later), and milk together leaving lumps, ladle evenly into preheated Wabi Nabe on top of the butter.
  3. Add fruit, distributed evenly
  4. Sprinkle remaining sugar over fruit
  5. Bake uncovered for 30- 40 minutes at 350°F until golden brown on top
  6. Serve warm over fresh vanilla bean ice cream.
