Ethics and Capitalism

After hearing some months ago about Patagonia's seemingly counter intuitive selling strategy, I re-read Yvon Chouinard's 1972 Catalog of salable goods and climbing conduct. What I rediscovered among the essays were some early ground rules for outdoor ethics congruent with their current efforts to minimalize our impact on their Earth, despite being in the business of making and selling more stuff.
